Transformations: How Ayurveda & Yoga Heal

As a Yoga Therapist & Ayurvedic Health Practitioner I support people in customizing their diet, lifestyle, & healing modalities for optimal vibrancy and health in tune with nature!  This entails using assessment tools such as pulse diagnosis, tongue examination, visual observation, and constructive listening techniques.  Then I partner with my client, to select which healing practices are best suited to helping them rebalance, create an implementation plan, and support and educate throughout the transformative process.  Ayurveda offers specifics for each individual's current state in terms of nutrition and other supportive measures.  We aim to correct the underlying imbalance in order to help resolve issues. Yoga, as a sister science of Ayurveda and an integral player in vibrant health, is an integral part of the healing & balancing process, using specific therapeutic applications as needed per person.  This can include asana (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), meditation, and much more.

My Journey

I am passionate about helping people who cherish their bodies and who wish to take control of their own health.  My journey in Yoga began in 1981, has been a key transformative aspect of my life, and my length and depth of study in Yoga & the Ayurvedic Health System have equipped me with a profound knowledge of how these ancient practices can be used for health and healing in our modern culture.  My experience brings forth yoga in its many forms, drawing from traditional as well as modern yoga techniques, and I am well versed in Ayurvedic health practices and therapies.
